In deze functie ben je verantwoordelijk voor het gehele inkoopproces. Je zet samen met de eigenaar het inkoopbeleid- en strategie op en bewaakt deze uitgangspunten. Het actief zoeken naar nieuwe leveranciers, het onderhandelen over prijzen en het waarborgen van de kwaliteit is waar jij energie van krijgt.

De focus zal in eerste instantie liggen op het inkopen van opblaasartikelen, zwemkleding en strandaccessoires. Hierna volgt de uitdaging om nieuwe categorieën gerelateerd aan de huidige collectie toe te voegen. Daarnaast staat het opzetten van een nieuwe Herfst/Winter collectie op de planning. Heel divers!

Wie zijn wij?

Swim Essentials is onderdeel van The Essentials. Onze core business is het maken van unieke opblaasartikelen voor in het zwembad, zwemkleding en accessoires. We werken samen met grote Europese retailers maar daarnaast ook met veel klein- en middenbedrijven in Europa. Het doel is om ons mooie merk en onze producten voor iedereen beschikbaar te maken. Naast de core business die gericht is op de zomer zijn er mogelijkheden voor Fall/Winter items waar nog een grote groei ligt.

 

Wat houdt dit in voor jou?

• Via (online) kanalen zoek je naar passende producten en nieuwe leveranciers.
• Je onderhoudt de contacten met de huidige leveranciers.
• Je onderhandelt prijzen, levercondities en sluit overeenkomsten.
• Je bent de schakel tussen design en sales.
• Je beheert het gehele inkoopproces van het maken van samples, kwaliteitseisen tot aan het uiteindelijke product. 

Heb jij dit profiel?

• Je hebt ervaring in het inkopen van kleding, speelgoed en of andere gerelateerde producten.
• Je hebt ervaring met het sourcen van de juiste fabrieken in het verre oosten.
• Je bent bekend met andere culturen (bijv. China, India etc.)
• Je beheerst de Engelse taal.
• Je bent onderhandelingssterk, gedreven en hands-on.

Are you looking for a varied and challenging job as international purchaser? Then react quickly because we are looking for you!

In this position you are responsible for the entire purchasing process. You set up the purchasing policy and strategy together with the owner and monitor these principles. Actively searching for new suppliers, negotiating prices and guaranteeing quality is what gives you energy.

The focus will initially be on purchasing inflatables, swimwear and beach accessories. Next comes the challenge to add new categories related to the current collection. In addition, setting up a new Autumn/Winter collection is planned. Very diverse!

 

Who are we?

Swim Essentials is part of The Essentials. Our core business is making unique pool inflatables, swimwear and accessories. We work together with major European retailers, but also with many small and medium-sized companies in Europe. The goal is to make our beautiful brand and products available to everyone. In addition to the core business that focuses on the summer, there are opportunities for Fall/Winter items where there is still significant growth.

 

What does this mean for you?

• Via (online) channels you search for suitable products and new suppliers.
• You maintain contacts with current suppliers.
• You negotiate prices, delivery conditions and conclude agreements.
• You are the link between design and sales.
• You manage the entire purchasing process from making samples, quality requirements to the final product.

Do you have this profile?

• You have experience in purchasing clothing, toys and other related products.
• You have experience in sourcing the right factories in the Far East.
• You are familiar with other cultures (eg China, India etc.)
• You master the English language.
• You are strong negotiator, driven and hands-on.
